About
the Author, Paul Kidd
I only know
Paul Kidd through 4 years of on-and-off e-mails. He's written plenty
of comic books. He also wrote several of those TSR books, you know,
those D&D novels you see in the Sci-Fi section of the bookstore.
He also wrote a couple of those pencil and paper RPG manuals, although
I'm not entirely sure which ones. Hmm, what else... he worked the
on the ShadowRun video game. As I understand it, he wrote
for the Discworld video games, too. He's apparently been a part
of plenty of different movie, film, tv and etc projects, none of
which I know much about. Paul lives somewhere in Australia. At some
point in time, I'm going to ask him to write his own bio here. Go
to the links area to go to his website.
About
the Artist, Chris Berdoz
I am half graphic
artist and half production guy in the live TV business. I started
out in live entertainment doing stage crew in my high school plays
and eventually ended up working on stage at Universal Studios.
My first interest
had been illustration and cartooning. I didn't learn either one
in college but I did go to an art school. I never took an illustration
or cartooning class there. I learned by reading a lot of the classics,
taking influence from Walt Kelly, Wil Eisner, 80s anime, Warner
Bros., Disney, Jeff Smith's Bone, and similar things.
You might think
that since this cartoon has cats, that I am involved in "furry"
fandom. Well, no. In the 90s I was in the furry crowd (when I drew
this comic), but around the turn of the century I decided to stay
away from the furry fandom due to boredom. The fandom's seedy underside
doesn't bother me at all, but aside from that I got tired of looking
as the same old boring furry artwork over and over again. You'll
have to read my personal website for more info on that. But don't
let that stop you from enjoying this comic, especially since I know
lots of Paul Kidd fans are furries. I don't care for arguing about
furries, just
leave me alone about the whole issue and I'll have no problems
with you, furry or not.
